I am a beloved child of God. I do my best to define the rest of my life by that everlasting truth. However, since people are curious...I've been married for several years, and my husband is my very best friend. It is with him that I have learned what makes a healthy relationship. We encourage each other in our respective vocations. We accept each other unconditionally. Love gets better with time.

I love music. I love to sing. I love making good choral music. I have a weakness for British television. I like to cook. I like wine. I like books. I like clothes and shoes and makeup.

I like being a blonde, but I hate the 'dumb blonde' stereotypes. Tease me about it and I will hurt you. It is possible to be intellectual and intelligent and be pretty as well.

I am nobody's fool.

I am a fierce egalitarian. I believe that men and women and children, regardless of their color, are equal in God's eyes.

I am enjoying every moment of my life, and I do not fear aging. Life is like wine--it gets better with time. I am done apologizing for who I am. My greatest competition is myself.
